THAMRAIT: Farmers in Al Najd, Dhofar Governorate, began harvesting the wheat crop of the agricultural season 2025/2026. The activity is organised under the supervision of the Directorate-General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in the governorate.

The area planted with wheat in Dhofar Governorate is about 6,408 feddans/acres, distributed across 51 farms. The total production of this season is scheduled to reach about 8,000 tonnes of wheat.
