MANAH: The Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to non-Native Speakers in the Wilayat of Manah, Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, on Tuesday received 30 students who will join the institute’s 61st course, which will last 8 weeks.

The students hail from Türkiye, Vietnam, India, Uzbekistan, France, Germany, Russia, Japan, Slovakia, Hungary, Comoros Islands and the United States of America.

The institute organised an orientation day for the new students. The event included a presentation that provided an overview of the study system and accompanying cultural activities. Later, the students went on a tour of the institute's facilities.

The course comprises integrated educational programmes that combine language learning and identification of the values of Omani society.

The 61st course constitutes a step forward in the institute’s mission of spreading Arabic language and enhancing its global presence. Through this approach, the institute extends bridges of cultural communication between the Sultanate of Oman and the countries of the world. — ONA
