MUSCAT: The National Committee for Emergency Management has announced the deactivation of the National Centre for Emergency Management, as well as the sectoral and subcommittees in the governorates that had been activated to address the impacts associated with the Low-Pressure System 'Al Masarat'.


Relevant authorities will continue to carry out their core roles and work towards restoring affected services.


The committee expressed its gratitude to the sectoral bodies and governorate-level subcommittees for their efforts in managing this weather condition, commending the role of community members in adhering to public safety guidelines and cooperating with the competent authorities. - ONA
