Muscat: Several people were rescued by the Civil Defense Ambulance Authority (CDAA), including families, since the start of the current weather conditions on Saturday, March 21. At the same time, some people also lost their lives after being trapped in the flowing wadis across the country.

Seven-year drowned
CDAA received a report of a 7-year-old child drowning in a wadi in the Al-Sumhan Al-Janoubiya area of Barka. The child passed away on the way to the hospital.
3 die in Barka
A vehicle carrying 10 people was swept away in a wadi in Barka. Seven people were rescued, while three others were found dead, following efforts by CDAA teams, relevant authorities, and citizens.
4 kids die in building collapse in Rustaq
CDAA in South Al Batinah Governorate responded to a building collapse in Rustaq, where a structure made of unstable materials collapsed on several children. The incident resulted in the death of four children and critical injuries and burns to three others, who were transported to the hospital for treatment.
2 die as a vehicle was swept away in Wadi al Mawail
CDAA in South al Batinah responded to an incident in which three vehicles were swept away in Wadi al Maawil. One person was rescued in good health, while two others lost their lives.
