Body of a third missing person from Barka found; toll from rains rises to 5

Muscat: The body of the third person who went missing in flash floods in Barka on Saturday has been found due to the efforts of several agencies and several citizens.

The rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in the South Al Batinah Governorate responded to an accident in which a vehicle carrying 10 people was swept away in a wadi in the Wilayat of Barka, where seven people were rescued. Two people were found dead.

According to sources, all three members were of an Indian expatriate family.
