The Eid sermon focused on the integral connection between the holy month of Ramadhan, the Quran and the blessed Eid. It expounded that awareness is a light that establishes a balance of priorities, granting the individual and society a clarity of vision that guards against being swept away.
The discourse then ascended to a meaning that transforms faith into a driving force, elevating goodness from a fleeting response to a sustained pursuit. It concluded with a covenant that exalts one’s station, wherein loyalty becomes the path of continuity, thereby entrenching a national consciousness and a sincere citizenship, through which values are preserved, the edifice of the nation is strengthened and its standing is elevated.Upon the conclusion of the prayers, the monarch of the nation proceeded to the Al Alam Palace.
During his passage, the artillery fired a twenty-one-gun salute in honour of His Majesty the Sultan. Upon His Majesty’s arrival at the courtyard of the Al Alam Palace, he ascended the dais as the Omani Royal Anthem was played. Thereafter, His Majesty received well-wishers on this auspicious occasion, exchanging congratulations and blessings with them.
He expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the sincere sentiments and kind prayers they extended, supplicating to the Almighty Allah to accept from all their devotions and righteous deeds, to fill the days of this Eid with joy and blessings for all citizens and residents in the beloved nation, for the Arab and Islamic nations; and for the return of such occasions to us all with goodness, glory and honour. — ONA
