The Sultanate of Oman's Maritime Security Center has called on citizens and residents to exercise caution and refrain from approaching or handling any debris or foreign objects found at sea or on beaches, due to the potential dangers they may pose.

It also called for taking necessary precautions and staying away from these objects, and reporting them to the relevant authorities to take appropriate action, in the interest of public safety.
