All CBSE Class 12 exams in Gulf cancelled

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular on March 16, regarding Board Examinations for Class XII in the GCC.

In continuation of the previous circulars on March 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, and after accessing the feasibility of conducting Board Examinations for Class XII based on inputs obtained and requests received from schools and authorities of the affected countries, the CBSE has decided the following:

that Class XII examinations scheduled from March 16, 2026, to April 10, 2026, are cancelled for students from Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Examinations previously postponed, as per circulars dated March 1, 2026, March 3, 2026, March 5, 2026, March 7, 2026, and March 9, 2026, are also cancelled.

 The method of declaring results for Class XII students in these countries will be communicated separately in due course.
