India's CBSE cancels Class X exams in GCC; Class XII exams postponed

Muscat: The Indian schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE affiliated to CBSE will see Class X examinations scheduled from March 7 to 11 cancelled.

Examinations scheduled for March 2, March 5, and March 6, which were previously postponed, shall also stand cancelled.

The method of declaring results for Class X candidates in the Middle East will be notified separately in due course.

Class XII Examinations

The examination scheduled for Saturday, March 07, 2026, has been postponed.


Revised dates will be announced later.

The Board will review the situation on Saturday, March 7, 2026, and issue appropriate directions regarding examinations scheduled from Monday, March 9, onwards.

All Class XII students are advised to remain in close contact with their schools and follow official announcements.
