MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MoTCIT) continues to implement the remaining works of the Sultan Turki bin Said Road Project (Phase Two - Part Two), extending from the Wilayat of Al Kamil W'al Wafi to the Wilayat of Sur.


The completion rate has reached 85 per cent, advancing 5 per cent ahead of the approved plan. It is expected that a new 5-kilometre section of the project will be opened during the upcoming month of April.


Current works are intensively focused on the construction of flyovers, wadi bridges and tunnels, in addition to completing the works related to water drainage channels within the urban city of Sur. — ONA
