NIZWA: As part of its keenness to develop infrastructure, the Municipal Council of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate on Wednesday held a meeting during which it discussed a number of service projects and planning topics of relevance to the needs of the governorate’s wilayats.


The meeting was chaired by Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, Chairman of the Municipal Council. It was attended by representatives of government departments concerned.


During the meeting, Shaikh Hilal stressed the need to consolidate coordination and integration among stakeholders to help enhance development. The Municipal Council reviewed the implementation of past recommendations during its second meeting in 2026.


At the conclusion of the meeting, the Municipal Council looked into an annual report submitted by the Legal Affairs Committee about programmes carried out in 2025. - ONA
