Shops are witnessing a heavy customer footfall with brisk purchasing activity across various markets.
This is due to the availability of essential and consumer goods, which strengthens consumer confidence and confirms the stability of the local market and its ability to meet the needs of the community.
Badr bin Saif al Kharousi, a trader and food commodities supplier in Al Awabi, stressed that price stability is the result of fruitful cooperation between traders and suppliers as well as sound planning that contributes to ensuring the availability of goods at concessionary prices.
He added that the markets in Al Awabi are currently experiencing remarkable activity, providing shoppers with a comfortable and safe shopping environment. He noted that price stability sends a reassuring message to consumers and demonstrates sound market management.
He explained that the brisk activity in shops also reflects the community’s awareness of the importance of supporting the local economy and highlights the authorities’ ability to balance supply and demand thus contributing to economic stability.
