Muscat - In light of the current developments in the region, the Foreign Ministry, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, implemented the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of Omani citizens who are abroad.

In this context, a group of citizens arrived in Oman on Thursday, after facilitating their transfer from Iran, in coordination with the embassies of the Sultanate of Oman in Tehran and Ankara and the relevant authorities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, within organized land and air transfer arrangements that ensure their safety and smooth movement.

Groups of citizens from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries also arrived safely via land border crossings.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms its continued efforts around the clock, in coordination with the relevant authorities and Omani embassies abroad, to facilitate the gradual return of citizens.
