HM receives two phone calls

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday received two telephone calls from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

 

The telephonic conversations dealt with the recent developments regarding the military escalation witnessed in the region, along with its concerning repercussions on the security and stability of nations and the safety of their peoples.

 

The leaders emphasized the importance of concerted international efforts to achieve an immediate cessation of escalating tensions and a return to the paths of dialogue and diplomacy, in a manner that contributes to containing the crisis and enhancing regional and international peace.
