His Majesty Sultan Haithan bin Tarik convened separate telephone calls with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the calls, they discuss the developments of the military escalation currently witnessed in the region following the Israeli and US strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its repercussions on security and stability in the region and the world.

The leaders stressed the need for an immediate cessation of the exchange of bombardment, laying emphasis on reverting to dialogue and diplomacy.

His Majesty the Sultan convened telephone conversations with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, and the President of the European Commission.

During these calls, perspectives were exchanged concerning the military escalation in the region and its profound implications for the nations of the region and the wider world.

Emphasis was placed on the imperative of coalescing international efforts to cease the reciprocal bombardment and to revert to dialogue and mutual understanding, thereby safeguarding the interests of states and the well-being of their peoples.
