13 new services added to Gov. om application

Muscat: A total of 13 new services from the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the Ministry of Labor, and the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT)  are available through the Gov. om application. These services include:

Royal Oman Police:  Renewing a driving license, paying traffic fines, renewing a vehicle license, requesting that fingerprints be taken, updating Civil Status Data, getting a certificate of good conduct, and getting a non-conviction certificate.

Ministry of Labor: Registering job seekers' data in the Manpower Registry and activating job seeking Status.

MTCIT: Obtaining permits for transporting exceptional loadsgetting oversized load permits,  obtaining a vehicle operating card, getting a taxi operating card, transferring ownership of the vehicle operating card for goods, and paying the fines for violations of the executive regulations of the Land Transport Law.

The Unified Government Services Portal (GOV.OM) is the central gateway to all government services and essential official information. It is aimed at providing easy access to eServices, enabling the completion of government transactions online, keeping informed with the latest news, events, and data, and connecting with the relevant service providers. 

The Portal offers a consistent user-centered experience for citizens, residents, business owners, investors, or tourists.
