Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended his greetings to Omani citizens, residents in the Sultanate of Oman, and to the entire Islamic nation on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH.
The Diwan of Royal Court on Wednesday issued a statement to this effect reading as follows:
“His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conveyed his greetings to the citizens of the dear homeland, residents and the entire Islamic nation, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH. His Majesty prays to the Almighty Allah to grant them success in fasting and performing the night prayers throughout the virtuous month, to imbue its blessed days with outpourings of acceptance and forgiveness, and to bless them with its return in goodness, health and harmony.
May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him long life. May He bestow upon the Sultanate of Oman further blessings and bounties, and return this occasion to the Islamic nation with goodness and glory. Happy Holy Month to all.”
