Foreign minister, IAEA's chief discuss Iran’s nuclear file developments

GENEVA: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, met with Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Tuesday.

 

They exchanged views on technical matters pertaining to the Iranian nuclear file and the ongoing Oman-mediated talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America.

 

Sayyid Badr expressed his appreciation for the technical and oversight role played by the IAEA in support of efforts aimed to advance the talks.

 

The IAEA Director-General voiced his appreciation for the constructive role played by the Sultanate of Oman in supporting dialogue efforts, emphasizing the IAEA’s commitment to continuing its technical cooperation in a way that enhances opportunities to reach understandings to foster security and stability in the region.
