Muscat: As part of the Sultanate of Oman’s hosting of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held separate consultations this morning with the Iranian delegation headed by His Excellency Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and with the American delegation headed by Steve Witkoff, the Special Envoy of the President of the United States of America, and Jared Kushner.

The consultations focused on creating appropriate conditions for the resumption of diplomatic and technical negotiations, while emphasizing their importance in light of the parties’ keenness to ensure their success in order to achieve sustainable security and stability.

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to continuing its support for dialogue and bringing the parties closer together, and to working with various partners to reach consensual political solutions that align with the desired goals and aspirations. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of regional countries supporting these talks.
