BAHLA: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has completed the restoration works of Al Wadi Al A'la Mosque in the Wilayat of Bahla, Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah. This effort is part of the ministry's ongoing initiatives to preserve historical mosques, safeguard their architectural value and enhance their sustainability as civilisational landmarks of historical importance.


The restoration works began last year, encompassing comprehensive treatment of the mosque's architectural and structural aspects in accordance with approved technical standards, ensuring the building's safety and continued usability.


The implementation of this project falls within the ministry's plan aimed at rehabilitating and maintaining historical landmarks, contributing to the preservation of the authentic architectural character of historical mosques and strengthening their presence within the urban landscape. - ONA
