MUSCAT: Acting in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Sunday received a new batch of officer cadets, as part of the RAFO's efforts to provide employment for Omani citizens and enable them to engage in military service after they pass preliminary admission interviews and medical and physical examinations.

Those who meet the conditions will join a basic military training programme in preparation for joining the ranks of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The RAFO extended its full expertise and facilities to serve the new recruits, including specialised manpower, administrative, health and transport services.

The step aims to streamline procedures for citizens wishing to join the military service and to supply the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and other departments of the Ministry of Defence with qualified national cadres, to serve the nation and its beloved leader. - ONA
