MUSCAT: Ibri ended league leaders Seeb’s winning streak after claiming a valuable 1–0 victory at the Al Buraimi Sports Complex in Round 13 of the Jindal Football League.

The decisive goal came early in the sixth minute of the first half when Bissan Jacques capitalised on a precise cross, rising high to power a header into the net and hand Ibri an advantage that unsettled the visitors.

The match began at a high tempo with both sides exchanging attacks, but Ibri proved more clinical in front of goal. After conceding, Seeb regained possession and dominated the midfield, pressing forward through both flanks and central channels. They came close to equalising on several occasions, most notably through a header from Omar al Fazari that struck the crossbar and a powerful long-range effort from Ali al Balushi, which goalkeeper Mutasim al Wahibi tipped away brilliantly.

At the other end, Ibri goalkeeper Omar al Matroushi delivered an outstanding performance, producing a series of crucial saves. At the same time, the defence remained well organised and compact, relying on quick counterattacks to threaten sporadically.

In the second half, Seeb intensified their attacking pressure and made several substitutions in search of an equaliser. However, haste and a lack of finishing touch denied them a breakthrough, while Ibri maintained their defensive discipline until the final whistle, despite five minutes of added time.

The victory lifts Ibri to 10 points in 12th place, while Seeb remain top of the table with 32 points.

Elsewhere, Al Khabourah and Dhofar played out a goalless draw at the Al Rustaq Sports Complex, leaving Al Khabourah ninth with 14 points and Dhofar tenth with 13.

Wenda, Abdulsalam al Shukaili (two goals), and Faisal al Aghbari scored for Bahla, while Bashar al Muharbi netted Samayil’s lone goal. The result moves Bahla up to sixth place with 22 points, while Samayil remain 11th with 11.

Meanwhile, Oman Club defeated Al Rustaq 3–1 at Seeb Stadium. Ziki, Husni al Hinai and Waleed al Musallami scored for Oman Club, while Omar al Salti scored the consolation for Al Rustaq. Oman Club rise to seventh with 18 points, while Al Rustaq stay bottom with four points.
