Muscat Marathon sets new record

13th edition of Experience Oman muscat marathon presented by Sohar international set a new record on Saturday attracting more than 15,000 runners from 94 nationalities over two consecutive days. This year’s edition was held in Al Khuwair Square, and was aimed at diversifying the hosting locations and enriching the experience of the runners and the public. It witnessed the participation of an elite group of professional runners, amateurs, families and first-time participants, across a variety of race categories, including the marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 5 km races, fun run and children’s races.
