SUHAR: The three-day Sohar Camel Festival concluded on Saturday at the camel racing field in Al Batinah North Governorate, showcasing 400 camels across multiple events.


Winners were announced across 14 contest rounds, including Golden Singles, Silver Singles, Golden and Silver Laqaya, Golden and Silver Deposit, and young camel categories. Notable winners included Shahbar, Samha, Musayha Kashaw, Buwayda Falhoud, and Al Ghazila, reflecting the continued enthusiasm and wide participation of camel owners from across Oman.


The festival highlighted the rich heritage and enduring popularity of camel sports in the Sultanate of Oman. — ONA
