Emiratis, Indians among top foreign visitors to Oman

The top nationalities visiting the Sultanate of Oman until the end of November 25 were Emiratis and Indians, among others, as the country recorded a 0.4 percent increase to 3.51 million from 3.50 million in the same period in 2024.

According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), 1,007,190 Emiratis visited the Sultanate of Oman until November-end, followed by 607,789 Indians, 112,127 Yemenis, 111,080 Saudis, and 109,193 Germans.

The number of foreign visitors to the Sultanate of Oman increased 18 percent to 366,483 in November 2025, compared to 310,462 in November 2024.

The hotel guests (three to five star) increased by 10.9 percent in the 11 months of 2025 to 2,139,3000, while the room nights increased by 20.4 percent to 3,290,613.

The 3 to 5-star hotels employed 11,159 people in the 11 months of 2025, including 3,744 Omanis.

Hotel occupancies were highest in South Al Batinah (94.5 percent), 79.7 percent in Muscat, 70.9 percent in Sharqiyah South, and 72.15 percent in Batinah al North.
