

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Sunday conferred Royal orders upon a number of distinguished figures. This comes in appreciation from His Majesty for their pivotal roles and outstanding contributions across numerous fields.
His Majesty the Sultan conferred the Royal Commendation Order (First Class) upon Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad al Busaidy for his service in the fields of arts and culture. His Majesty also conferred Al Numan Order (First Class) upon Dr Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan for his diplomatic service, and Dr Hamad bin Saif al Hinai for his representation of the Sultanate of Oman within international organisations.
Furthermore, His Majesty bestowed the Royal Commendation Order (Second Class) upon the following individuals: Dr Ali bin Abdul Hussein al Lawati for his contribution to building the foundational infrastructure of the health sector; Shaikh Ahmed bin Nasser al Nuaimi for his contribution to civil initiatives and social responsibility; Prof Dr Mohammed bin Zahir al Abri for his accomplishments in scientific research, innovation and academia; Yousuf bin Abdul Qadir al Kamali in the field of culture; Sulaiman bin Hamoud al Naabi in the field of sports and youth; Dr Hameed bin Hamoud al Faree in the health field; Eng Azzan bin Qais al Kindi and Suleiman bin Mohammed al Sulaimani for their achievements in entrepreneurship; Eng Muadh bin Ahmed al Hinai in the field of digital economy, communications and information technology; Dr Raed bin Abdulhafidh al Farsi in the field of disability affairs; Iman bint Ali al Rahbiyah in the field of school education; and Saleh bin Zaal al Farsi in the field of arts.
In addition, His Majesty conferred the Royal Commendation Order (Third Class) upon Nabati Sharqi Yabqa and Amir Hassan Nouri in the field of institutional excellence.
The orders were presented by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, when he received them in his office on Sunday.
On this occasion, the minister emphasised that these orders represent a profound appreciation from His Majesty for the dedicated efforts they have rendered in their respective fields of distinction.
He extended his heartfelt wishes for their continued success in all future scientific, research and professional pursuits, commending their ongoing endeavours undertaken from a profound sense of societal duty in service to this nation and its leader. - ONA
