

Muscat: The National Museum has announced the soft opening of Bayt al Greiza, a historic mansion in Old Muscat, originally built as a Portuguese complex in 1597.
It is now managed by the National Museum.
The National Museum published its 2025 Calendar, with support from OQ, which features an elegant illustration of Bayt al Greiza`s inner courtyard, adorned with lilies and jasmine flowers.
This artwork highlighted the unique beauty of Bayt al-Greiza, reflecting a key period in Masqat’s history and showcasing the distinctive architectural heritage of Old Muscat.
The calendar highlighted artworks that reveal stories and insights from various historical eras.
As per the National Museum, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik directed to transformation of Bayt al Greiza into a museum, administered by the National Museum.
