Sayyid Badr al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, received a phone call from His Excellency Ivan Gil Pinto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.


 During the call, the two Ministers discussed the latest developments related to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.


They emphasized the importance of respecting international law and adhering to dialogue and diplomatic channels to preserve the sovereignty, independence, and territorial unity of states.


The Venezuelan Minister expressed his country's appreciation for the steadfast positions of the Sultanate of Oman and its call to ensure security and peace for Venezuela and peaceful coexistence among nations.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked his Venezuelan counterpart for his initiative, expressing his appreciation for the level of existing bilateral relations and welcoming Venezuela's intention to open a resident embassy in Muscat, noting the positive impact this will have in the context of enhancing areas of cooperation and supporting trade and economic partnership opportunities between the two friendly countries and peoples.
