MUSCAT: This year, Muscat Nights returns with a host of exciting new and entertaining events for children.
The 'Masha and the Bear' activities at Al Amerat Public Park are a highlight, fostering interaction and fun among children. This integrated educational and entertaining environment caters to children's enjoyment and imagination development.
The entire family is transported to a live, interactive space inspired by the beloved story, experiencing more than just watching; they live within the details of the tale.
Islam Ayman, the official in charge of the 'Masha and the Bear' and 'Children's World' at Al Amerat Public Park, said: "Last year, we held a flower festival at Al Qurum Natural Park, and this year we wanted to offer something new to the event. We were able to bring in the 'Masha and the Bear' activities, which are among the most popular with children."
"There are many activities accompanying the event, including theatrical performances and shows featuring Masha and the Bear characters, allowing children to interact with and watch them. We brought Masha from the television screen so they could see her in person and interact with her. We also prepared various activities and provided different areas for taking photos and playing games, where they can play augmented reality games and search for Masha using tablets," he added.
The Masha and the Bear events offer fun shows for children. Let your children have an unforgettable experience with Masha and the Bear at the Kids World.
The Kids World also attracted many visitors, as it is not just an entertainment event, but also an educational and entertaining one. The event consists of different sections, such as a fire station, space science, adventure science, imagination land, driving school and a construction zone.
Each section is unique, offering children a complete experience. For example, in the fire station, they dress up as firefighters, and a firefighter explains the causes of fires and how to react in case of one. Then, the alarm sounds, and the children descend to the attic and enter a second building, where smoke and flames are simulated. The children try to extinguish the fire, experiencing firsthand the work of a firefighter.
The second area is the astronomy zone, where a space captain greets them, dresses them all in spacesuits, and introduces them to space, planets, the solar system, and everything related to space.
Then, they move to the moon, taking photos as if they had travelled to space in a rocket. After that, there is another area, the alien’s zone, where they can play with playdough. Each zone has its own special suit, such as an astronaut suit and an explorer suit. They can also take photos with dinosaurs and play in a treehouse. We brought them here so they could explore dinosaur bones and try to identify the different types.
