Muscat: The State General Budget 2026 has allocated RO20 million per governorate during the 11th Five-Year Development Plan to deliver sustainable economic and social development and strengthen their competitive advantages via strategic programs.

Muscat Governorate

The projects that will be implemented in 2026 include the  Muttrah Square, Bausher Sands, and the Hawiyat Najm Glamping projects in Muscat Governorate.

During the 10th Five-Year Development Plan, the Muscat Governorate worked on projects such as the  Qurum Commercial District,  Qurum District (Beach & Nature Reserve), and the improvement & development of old villages in the Bausher area  (Ain Ghala- natural spring).

North Al Batinah North:  Historical center project (Al Durra) in Al-Khabourah Wilayat.

South Al Batinah: Rimal Park in Nakhal Wilayat, Al Musannah, and Barka waterfronts.

North Al Sharqiyah:  Resources Market in Sinaw,  Bidiya Recreational Center/

South Al Sharqiyah: Al-Ashkhara Waterfront Project.

Dhofar: Boulevard Razaz, Awqad, and Taqah waterfronts.   

Al-Wusta: Mahout Waterfront.

Al-Dakhiliyah: Al-Dakhiliyah Boulevard and Jabal Shams Grand Canyon.

Al-Dhahirah: Dhank, Yankul, and Ibri viewpoints.

Musandam: Ames Bay.
