MUSCAT: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed higher on Wednesday, gaining 6.4 points to end at 5,866.80, an increase of 0.11 per cent from the previous close of 5,860.38.


Trading value declined by 6.9 per cent to RO 32.74 million, compared with RO 35.18 million in the previous session. Market capitalisation rose by 0.069 per cent to about RO 32.01 billion.


Non-Omani purchases stood at RO 3.20 million, accounting for 9.76 per cent of total buys, while sales reached RO 3.39 million, or 10.34 per cent. Net non-Omani investment fell by RO 192,000, down 0.59 per cent. — ONA
