US singer Beyoncé has officially reached billionaire status, according to Forbes magazine, which announced the milestone on Monday. With this achievement, she becomes only the fifth musician in history to cross the billion-dollar mark, a rare distinction in the global music industry.
At 44 years old, the internationally celebrated entertainer now joins an elite group of artists whose fortunes extend beyond music alone. This exclusive circle includes her husband, rapper Jay-Z, as well as fellow global stars Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna, Forbes reported. The publication is widely known for its annual rankings of the world’s wealthiest individuals and influential figures.
Beyoncé reached this financial landmark following several exceptionally profitable years marked by major creative and commercial success. In 2023, her Renaissance World Tour proved to be a massive global hit, generating close to $600 million in total revenue and reinforcing her status as one of the most powerful touring artists in the world.
She continued to evolve her artistic direction in 2024 by reinventing her musical profile with the release of Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that went on to win a Grammy Award. This creative shift was followed by another major triumph when she staged the world’s highest-grossing tour of 2025, further strengthening her financial standing.
When these touring earnings are combined with income from her extensive music catalog and various business agreements, Forbes estimated that Beyoncé earned $148 million in 2025 alone, before taxes. This figure placed her as the third highest-paid musician globally for that year.
Despite confirming her billionaire status, Forbes did not release a precise estimate of the net worth of the former Destiny’s Child member. Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment to oversee her career and creative productions, maintaining significant control over her professional ventures.
According to the publication, while Beyoncé has expanded her business empire through initiatives such as a hair care brand, a beverage label and a fashion line, the majority of her personal wealth continues to stem from her music.
