UTAS Al Musannah, Rustaq College to honour 837 graduates

AL MUSANNAH: The University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Musannah Branch, together with Al Rustaq College of Education, is set to hold the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 on Wednesday, December 10, at Al Rustaq Sports Complex in Al Batinah South Governorate. A total of 837 graduates will be honoured, including 590 from UTAS–Al Musannah and 247 from Al Rustaq College of Education.


The ceremony will be held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Dr Faris bin Turki al Said and will be attended by Dr Said bin Hamed al Rubaie, Vice-Chancellor of UTAS, members of the State Council, officials from Al Batinah North and Al Batinah South, and families of the graduates.


Dr Nasser bin Salem al Bimani, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for UTAS–Al Musannah, highlighted that graduates from the Colleges of Engineering & Technology, Economics & Business Administration, and Computing & Information Sciences, as well as Al Rustaq College of Education students specialising in Science, Mathematics and English, will receive Bachelor’s, Advanced Diploma and Diploma degrees.


He added that this year’s graduates exemplify the university’s strong academic programmes and its ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills aligned with labour-market needs. The graduates are well-prepared to contribute to national sectors, keeping pace with technological developments and supporting Oman’s development goals.


The main organising committee confirmed full readiness after reviewing event logistics, approving the ceremony programme and coordinating media coverage to ensure a celebration befitting the students’ academic journey.


Dr Sarah al Bahlani, Dean of Al Rustaq College of Education, commended the committees’ efforts, noting that the ceremony marks a significant milestone in the students’ academic paths and reflects the knowledge and skills they have gained to confidently join the workforce.
