HM gives audience to Bhutan Prime Minister

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace on Tuesday to Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The Prime Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan to His Majesty the Sultan. The King also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked the Prime Minister to convey his greetings and best wishes of success to the King. His Majesty also wished the people of Bhutan further growth and prosperity.

The audience discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries and touched on opportunities to develop investment partnerships across various economic and commercial spheres, in a manner that serves the interests of their peoples and enhances the paths of economic diversification and sustainable development.

The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, and Dr Hamed bin Said al Aufi, Head of Private Office of His Majesty the Sultan. - ONA
