SALALAH: Omani contestant Khalid bin Salim al Amri claimed first place at the “Voice of the Season 2025” competition held during the closing of Al Sarb cultural festival, which marks Dhofar Governorate’s spring tourism season.

The competition, which began on October 9, was organised by the Dhofar Centre for Culture, Heritage and Creativity, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

The contest winners’ felicitation ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Mohammed bin Salim al Said.

Omani contestant Said Al Shammali Zaabanoot occupied second place at the “Voice of the Season 2025” competition, while Kuwaiti contestant Abdul-Hadi al Murri ranked third. The results were based on a combination of scores noted by the adjudicating panel and a public vote.
