

SUHAR: The Municipal Council in North Al Batinah Governorate, in its meeting on Wednesday chaired by Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, discussed the challenges facing the libraries sector in the wilayats of the Governorate.
This was done by hosting a number of library owners in the Governorate, in addition to discussing possible solutions to enhance the cultural and knowledge role of libraries in the community.
During the meeting, the Council also reviewed the results of the fourth meeting of the Social Affairs Committee for 2025, where the topic of establishing parks equipped with children's play areas within residential areas was discussed. Furthermore, the Council discussed the results of the third meeting of the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee for 2025.
The Council also reviewed a set of responses received from government agencies regarding a number of issues. - ONA
