The National Free Fall Team at the Sultan of Oman’s Parachutes, Royal Army of Oman, is taking part in the 47th CISM World Military Parachuting Championship 2025 (CISM Qatar 2025), which kicked off on Sunday in Doha, State of Qatar, under the theme 'CISM: Friendship Through Sport'. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Shaikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Defence Affairs. The championship, which runs till November 23, sees the participation of 320 male and female skydivers from 30 countries around the world. The contestants participate in four-way formation skydiving, style and target landing competitions.
