Oman, Bosnia hold talks to boost bilateral cooperation

MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, on Monday received Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is currently on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.


The two sides held political talks which reviewed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing them in various political, diplomatic, economic and cultural spheres in a manner that serves mutual interests.

The two sides exchanged views on several regional and international issues and challenges of mutual concern. They stressed their two countries' commitment to pursuing dialogue, peaceful, and legal means to achieve stability and peace, and address issues in a spirit of justice and wisdom.


They affirmed their mutual keenness to develop tourism and educational opportunities, encourage investments and mutual visits, and support communication between the different sectors of the two countries, which would bring mutual benefits.


The talks were attended by Razim Čolić, Ambassador of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as a number of officials from both sides. - ONA
