MUSCAT: The Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Childhood Care marked a significant milestone with the launch of its new visual identity under the slogan ‘A Journey of Impact', alongside the inauguration of its new headquarters in Al Khoudh, Al Seeb.

The event, held under the auspices of HH Sayyidah Mayyan bint Shihab al Said, began with a tour of the new facility. The guests visited the various sections, including administrative offices, meeting halls, centres for productive families, and exhibition areas dedicated to charitable initiatives.

In her address, Sanaa bint Abdulrahman al Khanjariyah, President of the Al Rahma Association, described the opening as a ‘turning point in the association’s journey.’ She noted that the new identity reflects a renewed vision and mission to serve the community, empower families, and strengthen volunteerism and social solidarity.

She added, “Al Rahma has always been a home of humanitarian generosity and a haven for families in need. The move to this new building marks a new chapter of development and institutional excellence, reinforcing our partnership with the community and our commitment to organised charitable work.”

Constructed on a 4,000-square-metre plot with a total built-up area of 6,000 square metres at a cost of RO 1.4 million, the three-storey facility includes administrative offices, meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and workshops for productive families. It also features two commercial centres and 20 retail units available for rent, contributing to the association’s financial sustainability.

The building integrates a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. Additionally, solar panels have been installed on the roof to promote sustainability and reduce energy consumption, in line with the association’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The slogan ‘A Journey of Impact’ captures the essence of Al Rahma’s 18-year legacy in humanitarian work, supporting and empowering orphans, families, and underprivileged groups through initiatives that advance social responsibility and sustainable development.

The association’s new visual identity also carries symbolic meaning: blue represents trust and credibility, orange stands for hope and renewal, red signifies compassion and swift response, and navy blue embodies the vast horizon of aspiration and optimism.

The ceremony featured the screening of two documentary films — ‘Mercy and the Journey of Impact’ and ‘The Journey of Impact’ — highlighting the association’s evolution and achievements. It also included a visual presentation titled ‘The Step Towards a Million (Dream. Opportunity. Smile),’ and concluded with a recognition ceremony honouring supporters and partners for their continued contributions. - ONA
