In a statement, Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, said the season has become “a comprehensive model in managing tourism destinations through effective planning, organisation, and integration of roles between government entities, the private sector, and the local community.”
He emphasised that the award reflects the success of Dhofar’s Khareef as a national example of coordinated development and tourism management, attracting visitors from across the region and beyond.
