MUSCAT: The Royal Opera House Muscat presented the ‘Voice of the Mountain’, Diana Haddad, in a spectacular concert on Saturday, October 18, at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts. With her rich vocals and commanding stage presence, Diana delivered an evening of unforgettable music that resonated deeply with audiences.

Performing a vibrant mix of her most beloved hits alongside new material, Diana brought energy, emotion and elegance to the stage. Her seamless ability to blend traditional Arab music with modern influences created a powerful connection with the audience, who responded with enthusiasm throughout the night.

Adding to the weekend’s celebrations, the Lebanese-Emirati star also appeared at Omani Women’s Night on Friday, October 17, joining in the recognition of the strength, achievements and cultural contributions of Omani women. Her presence brought a special resonance to the evening, underscoring the unifying power of music across cultures.

Known for her signature fusion of modern pop with traditional Bedouin and Khaleeji elements, Diana has long been celebrated as one of the Arab world’s most versatile and enduring performers. Her early work in the mid-1990s positioned her among the leading female voices in the Arabic pop and her ability to sing in multiple dialects — from Gulf and Levantine to Egyptian — has helped her reach audiences across the region.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential female Arabic-language pop stars, Diana continues to inspire a new generation of artists. Her cross-cultural appeal and musical versatility make her a true icon of pan-Arab pop, embodying the spirit of a ‘modern yet rooted’ artist who bridges tradition and contemporary sound.
