Muscat: Represented by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Sultanate of Oman will join the international community in observing World Standards Day, on Tuesday October 14, 2025. The event will be celebrated under the theme "A Shared Vision for a Better World".

The occasion embodies the importance of standards and partnerships as pillars for the realization of sustainable development goals (SDGs), notably SDG17 that focuses on enhancing cooperation among government and the private sector establishments to achieve industrial and economic progress.

World Standards Day seeks to affirm the vital role of standards, not only as technical documents, but also as a global discourse that builds bridges of confidence and enhances the environment of industrial and economic integration among countries. This contributes to developing the quality infrastructure, streamlining trade and supporting industrial innovation.
