MUSCAT, OCT 7

The fourth round of the Jetour Cup (2025–26) concluded with competitive matches that saw Al Nahda continue at the top of Group 2 after a deserved victory over Al Shabab, while Seeb maintained the lead in Group 1 despite a draw with Bahla.

Ibri claimed an important win over Al Khabourah, securing their first three points of the tournament.

Al Nahda extended their fine form with an important 2–0 win over Al Shabab in a Group 2 match at Al Buraimi Sports Complex.

The match started with high intensity as both teams exchanged early attacks amid solid defensive organisation. Al Nahda managed to convert their field dominance into a goal in the 42nd minute when Azzan al Tamtami struck a beautiful shot from inside the box that beat goalkeeper Islam al Hinai, ending the first half with Al Nahda ahead 1–0.

In the second half, Al Shabab tried to get back into the match through Mohammed al Ghafri and Badr al Alawi, but Al Nahda’s defence stayed firm and well-organised, closing all gaps and relying on counterattacks that posed real danger.

Al Nahda doubled their lead in the 74th minute through professional striker Aboubakar Diarra, who calmly finished a precise cross into the back of the net, confirming his team’s superiority in both performance and result.

With this win, Al Nahda raised their tally to 7 points, keeping the top spot in Group 2, while Al Shabab remained on 6 points in third place.

IBRI EARN SECOND WIN

In another Group 2 encounter, Ibri secured a well-earned 2–0 victory over Al Khabourah at Al Rustaq Sports Complex.

Goals from Abdulrahman al Yaqoubi and Ali al Balushi sealed the win for Ibri, who displayed a disciplined and organised performance, controlling possession and dictating the tempo for most of the game.

With this result, Ibri climbed to 6 points, advancing to fourth place, while Al Khabourah remained bottom of the table with just one point.

SEEB DRAW WITH BAHLA

In the closing match of Group 1’s fourth round, Seeb played to a 1–1 draw with Bahla at Seeb Stadium.

Seeb took the lead through Mohammed al Musallami, but Faisal al Balushi equalised for Bahla in the second half with a powerful strike inside the box.

With the draw, Seeb moved to 7 points, maintaining the top position in Group 1, while Bahla reached 4 points, sitting in fifth place.
