SPORTS REPORTER

The Oman Volleyball Association has announced the launch of the official logo for the 30th Arab Men’s and 20th Arab Women’s Beach Volleyball Championships (Round Two), which will be hosted by the Sultanate of Oman from October 13-19, 2025, at Al Qurum Beach in Muscat Governorate, with the participation of elite Arab national teams.

The logo carries symbolic and aesthetic meanings that reflect the spirit of the championship and Oman’s status as a promising maritime and sporting destination.

The colours of the logo were carefully selected to represent strength, energy, boldness, courage, and the colours of Oman’s national flag, as well as hope, renewal, prosperity, and positivity.

The design highlights a volleyball with shades inspired by the blue sky, the radiant sun, and the golden sands of Omani beaches, forming a visual expression of the Sultanate of Oman’s unique natural environment. The symbolism of the logo incorporates elements from the sport, such as spiking and serving, alongside local environmental motifs like mishili (coconut) trees found along Al Qurum Beach and the blue sea waves, creating an artistic blend that connects sport with Oman’s maritime identity.

This launch comes as part of a series of organisational and logistical preparations leading up to the championship, which is expected to attract widespread Arab attention and see strong participation from regional beach volleyball teams.
