The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCII) mourned the demise of Sheikh Salem bin Saeed bin Hamad Al Fannah al Araimi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulfar Engineering and Contracting Company.
He was also the former president of the Oman Football Association (OFA) and founded Galfar Engineering & Contracting in 1972, transforming it into the country's largest engineering and construction company in the Middle East.
It was listed as a Public Joint Stock Company in 2007.
