IBRA: The Al Sharqiyah North Governorate on Wednesday announced the results of the Architectural Innovation Award in its first edition during a forum dedicated to evaluating initiatives, which included development designs for the wilayats of Ibra, Al Mudhaibi, Bidiyah and Sinaw.
The design titled "Reflection Project" won first place in the award dedicated to the designs submitted to develop the entrance of the Wilayat of Ibra.
For the designs submitted to develop the entrance of the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, the "Smart Oasis" project design won first place.
In the category for developing the Wilayat of Bidiyah, the project design titled "Bidiyah Window" won first place.
As for the Wilayat of Sinaw, the "Green Path" project design won first place.
It is worth noting that the Al Sharqiyah North Architectural Innovation Award aims to invest in the energies and creativity of youth, employ innovative architectural designs to develop the entrances of the wilayats, and create vibrant public spaces according to precise environmental, economic and social sustainability standards.
Distinctive sites at the entrances of the wilayats have been allocated for these projects, which will later be offered for investment or utilisation, opening new horizons for the private sector and the local community. - ONA
