Muscat - Voting began today to select the topics to be addressed by the fourth edition of the 'Together We Advance' Forum 2026.
The forum is organized annually by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, in line with the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, to build bridges of communication with the community through open dialogues and consolidate community participation in formulating future directions and strategies.
This phase, which precedes the registration phase for the forum and continues until October 5, is for voting on the themes that will underpin the fourth edition of the forum.
The electronic voting system allows participants to choose a main theme for the forum from three themes: "Oman Vision 2040: The Reality of Achievement and Prospects for Progress," which will address the levels of progress in achieving the vision's objectives five years after its launch, in addition to the economic and development tracks of the eleventh five-year plan.
The second proposed axis for voting includes investment aspirations in the Sultanate of Oman's economic priority sectors.
It will discuss investment in manufacturing industries and their impact on export development, strengthening the trade balance, and the tourism industry. It will also highlight the digital economy and its contribution to employment and innovation, as well as the role of the private sector in promoting investment in the manufacturing, tourism, and digital economy sectors.
The third axis will address improving government services to enhance productivity and competitiveness, focusing on the reality of government services and national platforms, and their impact on improving government services and digital transformation.
On the other hand, the voting system allows the audience to choose a topic they would like to discuss at the forum, in addition to the main theme.
It is worth noting that previous versions of the forum witnessed wide participation from all segments of society, as pivotal topics affecting society in various fields were raised via the following link:
