MUSCAT: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has officially launched the fourth edition of its Franchise Programme in Muscat, with the aim of strengthening the presence of local brands in both regional and international markets.
The launch event was held under the patronage of Shaikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers. This initiative is part of OCCI’s broader strategy to stimulate economic diversification, improve the business environment, and support the development of Oman’s governorates.
The Franchise Programme is designed to assist Omani SMEs and business owners in scaling their operations, enhancing brand recognition, and accessing new markets. Building on the achievements of the previous three editions, the programme underscores OCCI’s commitment to enabling private sector institutions to play a leading role in national economic growth by fostering competitive Omani brands. — ONA
