MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam held the fourth round of consultations in Muscat on Wednesday.
The Omani side was headed by Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Vietnamese side was led by Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The session reviewed bilateral relations in various fields, including economic, investment and cultural cooperation.
The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Ambassador Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department, Hoang Huu Anh, Ambassador-designate of Vietnam to Oman, as well as a number of officials from both sides. - ONA
