Al Buraimi: Al Buraimi Hospital on Monday inaugurated a minor operating room at its eye clinic as part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of health services rendered to citizens and residents.
The room serves as leading experiment aimed to enable patients to undergo minor surgeries directly at the clinic, without having to be transferred to the Main operating room.
The procedure cuts down waiting time and eases pressure on operating rooms that are designated to deal with complex surgical interventions.
The minor operating room has been established in accordance with top safety and security standards to ensure proper patient care and avoid the risk of surgical site infections. It is also supervised by a team of experienced medical and nursing personnel.
